Professional Background
With a diverse range of training and education in the field of anesthesiology, I possess a comprehensive background in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to medical research. My professional journey began with an internship at Assiut University Hospital, where I gained hands-on experience in medicine and surgery. This internship paved the way for my subsequent residency in anesthesiology at the esteemed South Egypt Cancer Institute. During this time, I honed my skills in anesthesiology and developed a keen interest in cancer-related anesthesia, leading me to pursue a fellowship in Cancer Anesthesiology at the same institute.
To further expand my expertise, I embarked on a fellowship in Clinical Research in Anesthesiology, at The Ohio State University – Wexner Medical Center. This opportunity allowed me to delve into the realm of research and contribute to advancing the field of anesthesiology. Building on my knowledge, I then pursued a fellowship in Neuro-Anesthesiology at the prestigious McGovern Medical School, University of Texas at Houston. This specialized training equipped me with a deep understanding of the unique considerations and challenges involved in providing anesthesia for neurological procedures.
Eager to continue my growth as a medical professional, I pursued a residency in Anesthesiology at Wayne State University/Henry Ford Health System. This comprehensive training offered me valuable exposure to diverse surgical specialties and further refined my clinical skills.
Throughout my professional journey, I have also embraced the role of an educator. As an Assistant Lecturer in Anesthesiology and Surgical Critical Care at the South Egypt Cancer Institute, I had the privilege of sharing my knowledge and mentoring the next generation of medical professionals.
With a wealth of practical experience, specialized fellowships, and a strong academic foundation, I am dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, contributing to cutting-edge research, and continuously expanding my expertise in the field of anesthesiology.
