Professional Background
Austin Armstrong, M.D. received his Doctor of Medicine at the KU School of Medicine-Wichita, where he stayed to complete his residency.
Dr. Armstrong’s clinical interest is in reproductive and endocrine psychiatry, in which he plans to develop research and clinical pursuits. Dr. Armstrong will also serve as an attending for the Ascension Via Christi Adult Inpatient Psychiatry unit and the Electroconvulsive Therapy Service, in addition to the KU Psychiatry andamp; Behavioral Sciences Clinic. Dr. Armstrong will supervise and mentor medical students and residents in these clinical roles.
