Miller has been one of the best pitchers in the history of Millersville baseball, and he helped guide the Marauders to a Division II World Series runner-up finish this spring. Over three years, he struck out 215 batters and walked just 32. Miller's prospect balloon began to inflate with a strong showing in the Cape Cod League as a rising junior, and he followed that performance up with an exceptional junior spring, in which he went 11-1, 1.61 ERA. Miller pitches off his fastball, which works mostly at 88-91 mph and touches slightly higher. He also shows a short slider that grades out as a near-average offering. Miller keeps the ball off the heart of the plate and shows solid control. He has a physical 6-foot-4, 195-pound frame and a clean delivery, giving scouts the impression that he could be a starter at the next level.
